Dawn Anderson is a freelance editor and craft project designer with 16 years experience in the publishing industry. Dawn’s passion for sewing initially led her to pursue a degree in apparel design. A few years later she became the editorial manager for the Singer Sewing Reference Library and the Arts and Crafts for Home Decorating book series, published by Creative Publishing International. She also worked for nine years as a technical editor and content development editor for Martingale & Company. As her interests in sewing and other creative projects evolved, Dawn expanded beyond sewing garments and began designing home decor, seasonal decor, and gift projects using a wide variety of craft materials. Dawn’s creative projects have been featured in numerous books and magazines and some of her home decor and seasonal sewing projects have been produced as patterns by Vogue Patterns. |

Lorine Mason is an author, project designer and regular columnist whose work has been featured on the web and on television, as well as in print. She works with a variety of art mediums, combining those mediums with her enthusiasm for all things fabric. She strives to create items others will be inspired to make, hopefully adding their own personal touch in the recreation. Mason's creative career started in retail, weaving its way through management and education positions along the way. These experiences, along with her goal to stay on top of the trends in color and style, give her current work the edge manufacturers, publishers and editors have come to expect. She shares her life with her husband Bill and her daughters, Jocelyn and Kimbrely. They currently reside in the great state of Virginia having moved there from Winnipeg, Manitoba by way of Beaconsfield, Quebec. |
