In this exclusive Annie's online video class, card makers and paper crafters will:
  • Explore the traditional art of tea-bag folding using small squares and circles of paper which are then assembled into medallion or rosette shapes.
  • Learn the joys of Iris folding, which originated as a technique in Holland, in which colorful strips of paper, ribbon or even fabric are layered in a spiral design which resembles the iris or an eye of camera.
  • Discover how to make a useful pocket fold, a dimensional accordion fold rosette, an exquisite Dahlia flower fold and an Origami butterfly fold.

This card-making class covers techniques that are perfectly suited for card making, scrapbooking, packaging and even home decor. Since this video class starts with basic paper folds and progresses into more involved folds, beginners through more experienced crafters will easily be able to learn and master many new folds. Plus, this class includes downloadable, step-by-step instructions to create a total of 16 beautiful finished cards for many special occasions throughout the year, including 7 tea-bag fold cards, 4 iris fold cards, and 5 fun fold cards.

Annie's online classes include downloadable and printable class patterns in PDF format in addition to the online video content. You can view online classes at your convenience, 24/7, 365 days a year from any mobile device, both tablet and non-tablet (phones, iPod Touch, etc.) but classes are best viewed on tablets or computers. This technique for embellishing cards is completely new to me. In only a couple of segments, I was hooked! Sharon Reinhart has a clear, calm technique to explain while she demonstrates. Right away, I could "see" and understand, and with practice I could use the simplest folds right away, while progressing through the lessons. Excellent!

I enjoyed this class very much! It kept me busy for days before I was able to complete all the lessons and projects. The step-by-step instructions were very easy to follow, and I appreciated the "repeat" feature to loop the last 30, 60, or 90 seconds of the video continually, until you turn the feature off. I was also able to pause the video when needed. The step-by-step instructions do get shorter the deeper you get into the lessons, but you can repeat and pause as often as you like, and you will catch on to the repetitive folds being used. I am on the slower side of learning, and I was able to follow her quite easily. I think you will too! I highly recommend this class!
