What is an electronic download?
An electronic download contains the same high-quality photos, material lists and instructions that you've come to expect from a printed pattern, except you can get it instantly over the Internet. Once it's on your computer, you can easily zoom in on the instructions and graphs for easy viewing. Your electronic downloads will never expire, so you can access them on your computer as long as you want.
Plus, you can store all your electronic downloads on your computer and build your electronic downloads collection without filling up filing cabinets, closets or storage bins! Each electronic download is between 100k up to several MB for pattern books, leaflets and books, all formatted as Adobe® Reader® PDF format. If you want, you can also download the electronic downloads to an external storage device and Adobe® Reader® will access them from there.
Can I order electronic downloads by phone and have them delivered to my home?
Due to the digital nature of our downloaded patterns, you can only order them at our Web Site.
Can I buy digital products if I live outside the US and Canada?
Yes! Our international customers can purchase electronic downloadable patterns using a credit card from anywhere in the world. Please note, if you have physical product in your shopping cart the address selections in the shopping cart are limited to US and Canada.
Are you wondering if it's safe to use your credit card on the Internet?
The answer is YES. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption scrambles your credit card number when you submit your order, making it completely unreadable as it travels over the Internet.

I don't have a debit or credit card. Can I still purchase your electronic downloads?
We only accept credit cards, debit cards or pre-paid credit cards issued by a major bank for online payment. Sorry, we do not accept checks or cash in payment for electronic downloads, nor can you order electronic downloads over the phone.
Can I change, cancel or delete an order for electronic downloads?
Orders placed for electronic downloads at Clotilde.com cannot be changed or cancelled. Since orders for electronic downloads are delivered immediately, any order containing electronic downloads cannot be cancelled.
How do I give an electronic download as a gift?
Because all electronic download order information is tied to your personal information, we do not suggest purchasing an electronic download as a gift. The encrypted file requires a password to open, and that password may contain personal information.
When will I receive my electronic downloads?
Our server sends a confirmation message to you at the e-mail address you provided on the check out form. This confirmation will contain the all-important links making it possible for you to download your electronic download. Simply click on the link and the electronic download will begin to download. For this reason, it is very important that you enter your correct e-mail address in the check out information!
After your purchase is complete, you can also find your purchased electronic downloads listed in your My Bookshelf section within the customer log-in area. Your electronic downloads will not be delivered to your home. Home delivery of great printed patterns continues to be a specialty of Clotilde.com.
How do you deliver your electronic downloads and what are the charges?
All Clotilde.com electronic downloads are delivered electronically, directly to your computer. You will receive a confirmation e-mail almost immediately. If you have not received an e-mail within 1 hour, please check your bulk or spam folder. If the confirmation e-mail is not located there, check your My Bookshelf in the customer log-in area for your patterns. If you are unable to locate the products recently purchased by either of these methods, please contact customer service.
At Clotilde.com there are no delivery charges for electronic downloads! All purchased electronic download product can be sent to any valid e-mail address anywhere in the world.
Some products are only available as either print or electronic downloads. Why is that?
Not all products are available in both formats. There are a number of factors that are considered in the decision of which format to offer. We welcome customer comments or requests using our customer feedback form.
